Our cattle receive no added growth hormones and no steroids. Cattle may only receive antibiotics in a life-or-death situation or if long-term health issues can be prevented. If we administer antibiotics, we record the animal, amount, date, injection site, and label and lot information, and we follow all manufacturer withdrawal periods with an added 6 month buffer at minimum.
